He has a Master's degree in General Practice and is also an undergraduate tutor and examiner. He has written this site to bring together all the ways that a patient can be examined with simple equipment in a non-invasive way to keep clinical examination techniques alive. It is also a forum for sharing information from all the medical schools on how to develop as a medical undergraduate Dr. Syahrul Nazrim Idris is a GP trainee with a keen interest in the application of IT and web-based activities to promote medical learning. He aims to present the information in a way that is easy to use and accesible to all. Disclaimer: 'whilst every effort is made to ensure this website is accurate and is kept up to date, the information on this site is not in any way inclusive of all the disease information and evidence that exists. Please refer to local and national guidelines for specific disease treatment options. This site is only for general educational purposes and should not be used as the sole basis for treating patients. It is merely a way of trying to make the process of learning how to examine patients a little easier, with some disease specific information included that was thought pertinent to that process. It is a simple beginning to stimulate further learning, and to distil and keep alive the art of examining patients. The idea is to collect examination techniques in one place, and to add videos and photographs over time to act as a visual and manual aid to clinical examination'. |
